Wow is simply an understatement to describe the amount of organization, teamwork and of course grunt work that was involved in packing, moving, unpacking, deciding, hanging, setting up, doing the tech work, and let us not forget the ability to work together as a team in summer heat that resulted in moving the Service Office. I cannot give enough gratitude to all involved, you know who you are, and how much you are loved. Stop by, check it out for a visit. The Open House will be on Saturday August 16th, 10am to 2pm, you can pick up literature items you need, have refreshments while you are there and ask me questions.

Area 43 August Assembly
Every member of Area 43, yes this every, so bring your sponsees, toss them in your car. Have a lovely ride up through the mountains all the way to Littleton, NH and have a meeting on the way up. There are important matters to be discussed, presented and District 17 is a wonderful host. I look forward to giving you a hands-on as well as oral sharing on my experience at the International Convention. You just have to show up to experience it!
Pay close attention to the draft 2026 Budget. A great deal of hard work has been done by many individuals, especially past delegate Grace F. as Finance Chair. Listen to her report today carefully and communicate to your groups.
Preliminary Agenda Items
These are also known as “PAI’s”. Your Alternate Delegate Justin will be sharing about the path of an agenda item at the Area 43 August Assembly. Just how does one of your ideas even become an agenda item at the General Service Conference? Do you have an idea to send in? Don’t be shy, but don’t be hasty without giving the topic proper background research, resources can be found on page 42 of the AA Service Manual. I am sure you will hear more on August 23rd, but you must be present. We are a fellowship, and together we are so much stronger than when we work alone.
