I am so excited to be getting started with the 2026/27 panel. I am looking forward to working with you all over these next few years. Thank you to everyone who participated in the Safety workshop last weekend. We had great participation with thoughtful and meaningful discussion.
Next month NERAASA is right in our back yard (Portland ME) 02/20/26-02/22/26. This is something that I encourage all officers and committee chairs to attend as well as DCM’s and GSR’s where funding is available. I was informed this weekend there are 5 rooms left in the current overflow hotel and that for any booking information now you should go directly to the NERAASA website https://neraasa.com/ use the registration tab for registering and the hotel tab for any hotel reservations and the latest on overflow hotels. Online registration closes on Feb 8th! You will still be able to register in person at the event.
In the few days before NERAASA I am expecting to receive the Final Agenda Items for the General Service Conference. In preparation of this Addie and I have scheduled a Delegates Day of sharing https://nhaa.net/event/delegate-day-of-sharing-in-person/ to take place on Feb 28th from 10 am-2pm in person at the Service Office in Concord 2 ½ Beacon St. Concord NH 03301 and from 2pm-4pm a virtual session https://nhaa.net/event/area-43-virtual-sharing-session-with-the-delegate/2026-02-28/

Please make sure this is passed on to all members of Area 43 to attend 1 or all of these sharing sessions. This should give ample time for groups to discuss and GSR’s to take notes that they can then share back at the Pre Conference Assembly March 28th in district 15.
A call for stories; for two AA pamphlets – from a Conference Advisory action at the 74th General Service Conference that these 2 pamphlets be created. Stories can be submitted for use. Please use the hyperlinks to the Letters from GSO for submission. The Deadline for submission is March 31st 2026

Lastly for today’s meeting I want to take a stroll over to the Delegates Corner on the NHAA.NET website. Some changes have been made regarding the content. It is my hope that this page will become a space for Area 43 members to visit regularly for many different types of communication, such as letters from the General Service Office or the General Service Board, or Board weekend Highlights. A Place for our membership to be informed of things that are happening. Sometimes we receive a large amount of communication, and this will be updated often to ensure quick access to all.
Again I am so excited to be working together with everyone in Area 43!!
