Delegate’s Report October 2025

A sincere thank you to District 9 for hosting the October Election Assembly today. The Spirit of Rotation will be alive and well in Area 43 today as we elect our new trusted servants. The Final Report for the 75th General Service Conference has arrived and I have brought it to the assembly. This online review of the report of the conference is still being held with guest speakers each Sunday evening:

The next one is Sunday October 26th.

Do you remember the Pre-Conference in 2024?

As dedicated round tables you presented your best suggestions which I carried to the 74th General Service Conference. The Transgender Pamphlet was assigned to the Committee I was placed on: Corrections, and this pamphlet passed at Conference. The Asian-Asian American Pamphlet passed as a floor action. It now gives me great pleasure to announce that there is a call for stories for both of these pamphlets! Your voices were in a small but important part heard in this process. If you know of someone, please reach out to see if they would be interested. The information follows below:

During this Election Assembly, may we remember to be grateful for the program of Alcoholics Anonymous that began 90 years ago, and flourishes in the U.S and Canada today. I am posting the updated 7th Traditions Contributions flyer that shows how much our office in New York does for us behind the scenes, to help the sick and suffering alcoholic. I have also posted the letter from our General Manager Bob W. below for those who did not receive it, as well.  May we all be grateful for our sobriety, as we participate in this amazing Spirit of Rotation to elect our Panel 76 Officers!

NERAASA 2026:

The main hotel, Portland by the Bay is full.  The Westin is still taking reservations and the best way to do it is to go online for booking.  I have a committee meeting Sunday October 26th, so may have new information should you need an update so reach out with questions.

Our Director of Publishing, David R. will be retiring, and the notice below has been circulated

Among trusted servants in the fellowship.  It was an honor to serve with him at the Conference as well as the International Convention.

The next DCM Roundtable Sharing Session will be

Wednesday November 26th:

The topic will be safety in A.A. meetings, in person and online.

It has been a pleasure and an honor to be of service to Area 43
