NHAA Committees

The New Hampshire Area Assembly (NHAA) has multiple service committees through which we carry the message of Alcoholics Anonymous to help reach the still sick and suffering alcoholic, support AA members in the state, and guide professionals and the public.

Accessibilities

Assists those who have significant barriers that must be overcome to ensure full participation in A.A.

Archives

Works to collect, preserve and share the history of Alcoholics Anonymous in New Hampshire.

Corrections

Works to carry the A.A. message of recovery to incarcerated alcoholics.

Finance

Provides oversight of the Area’s financial resources, including reporting to the members of the Area and groups.

Functions

Coordinates the Area’s various events, including service workshops and the Annual NHAA Convention.

Grapevine & Literature

The Grapevine and Literature Committee ensures that literature is available at events and raises awareness of the print and digital Grapevine magazine

Handbook

The handbook committee is convened biennially to consider updates and revisions to the Area’s Service Handbook.

Helpline

Coordinates the work of volunteers who answer incoming calls for assistance from suffering alcoholics.

Pipeline

Publishes the Area’s monthly newsletter, The Pipeline.

PICPC

Public Information/Cooperation with the Professional Community Committee works to convey information about Alcoholics Anonymous to the general public and to inform professionals whose work brings them into contact with problem drinkers about A.A.

Technology

Maintains the Area 43 Website, Area 43 email, and is a resource for recommending, purchasing and installing computer and hardware and software for use by the Area Service Office.

Treatment

Works to carry the A.A. message into treatment settings where there may be suffering alcoholics.

Service Office

Administers and coordinates the activities common to A.A. in Area 43, such as serving as a clearing house of information, as a communications center, and as a source of A.A. conference approved literature. The committee oversees the conduct of business in the office itself and the employment of the office staff.

Young People’s

Works to create unity among the young people’s A.A. community and A.A. in the Area as a whole.
