Area 43 Post-Conference Assembly

The Post-Conference Assembly traditionally held in May is the Delegate’s opportunity to inform Area 43 of the decisions, discussions and what he/she experienced at the General Service Conference held generally in April in New York. The morning program at the Post-Conference Assembly is dedicated to this presentation. The Delegate reports on the actions that were taken, items that were defeated and his/her votes in matters that affect AA as a whole. Typically, the Delegate provides handouts to the attendees and there is a time for questions and discussion. Lunch is followed by the Area Business Meeting which includes reports by DCM’s and Area Committee Chairs; motions requiring a vote by the assembly and a general sharing session complete the afternoon portion of this Assembly.
